I overcommunicate.  I always have.  Our district has a lot going on and you have a busy life.  You can rely on me to shout out the very important things that impact your student and our community.

The things that happen in our district will ultimately roll up to the Superintendent and my job on the board will be to guide the Superintendent.  The buck stops with the board.  No politics will be played.

I manage multimillion dollar budgets in my day job, and I will approach PLSD Finances with a fiscally conservative approach to stretch our finances as far as they can responsibly go.  I also won't approve any golden parachutes.

We have over 10,000 students in our district, and they come from all walks of life and backgrounds.  To make PLSD the best it can be, I will collaborate with you to find solutions.  We are stronger together and I want your input.

I won't play budgetary tricks or keep you in the dark.  If something is happening, I will tell you because I have nothing to gain by hiding information.  If I don't know it, I will find the answer and follow up with you.

We have an amazing district with fantastic teachers and students that are achieving goals every day.  We need to celebrate these moments more.  I want to highlight these moments for everyone to see.
